SYMPOSIUM
Filipino Flavors: Tradition & Innovation
May 15 & 16, 2010
International Culinary School at
The Art Institute of California-San Francisco
1170 Market Street
San Francisco, CA 94102
LOCATION
We’re proud to have the International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California-San Francisco as a generous supporter of our symposium.
Located at the historic United Nations Plaza in San Francisco, where 65 years ago the Charter of the United Nations was signed to mark the birth of the famed organization, the International Culinary School will host our 2010 symposium on Filipino cuisine. Its state-of-the-art kitchens and new restaurant lie at the heart of San Francisco, in view of City Hall and within steps from the Civic Center BART and Muni station.

The San Francisco Bay Area, long recognized as one of the premier culinary capitals of the world, leads the way in food culture and politics. With its historic neighborhoods and diverse communities, its culinary artisans and specialty agriculture, and its renowned restaurants and its respected universities with ground-breaking cultural studies departments, our city is the ideal setting for this important conference on the future of Filipino flavors.
We encourage all attendees to use public transportation. As a hub for BART subway lines, and numerous MUNI trains and buses, the Civic Center is highly accessible by public transport.
DIRECTIONS
This year’s symposium will be taking place in the 10 United Nations Building at 1130 Market Street, behind the fountain on the northern side of Market near the corner of 7th Street. Once you arrive, please make your way up to the International Culinary School located on the 6th floor.
