Join us in the heart of San Francisco for an exciting, weekend-long celebration of the foods of the Philippines. We’re putting together special panel discussions with scholars and chefs, food tastings, wine pairings, cook-offs, hands-on classes and, of course, lots of delicious dishes, good cheer and beautiful music.

Filipino farm workers were critical to the early success of California’s agricultural, food service and hospitality industries. To this day, Northern California remains home to the most concentrated community of Filipinos outside of Metro Manila. Come learn and share, eat and enjoy the many wonderful contributions of this food-loving community.

ACF Volunteers

Now Accepting Applications for 2010


Volunteering with ACF allows you to meet and work closely with our speakers, chefs, producers and other special guests as well as our expert board of directors and other dedicated volunteers.

We are currently in the process of screening potential volunteers for our weekend celebration of Filipino Cuisine on May 15-16 in San Francisco.

Those with a background in the culinary industry or cultural studies, who have a special place in their heart for Filipino cuisine, or who have attended our past events are especially encouraged to apply. Anyone who has a passion for Asian food and culture, however, carries what is most needed and is also welcome to apply. We value those with a dedication to learning and to educating others.
